Sokpop Collective and Grail
A small studio's big deckbuilder. Unofficial wiki, official games.
Sokpop Collective is the developer and publisher of Grail. Their site is sokpop.co. They are best known to deckbuilder players for Stacklands. Grail is billed as their 112th game and their biggest. That number explains the tone: lots of small games, then one that wants a cardopedia, trophy chests, and a day-10 ending.
Why the studio matters for play
Stacklands taught a lot of people to watch systems instead of mash buttons. Grail is that instinct pointed at a duel. If you bounced off Stacklands’ village, you may still like Grail’s six-win timer. If you wanted Stacklands to be a fighter, this is closer. It is still a Sokpop game: pixel animals, short sessions, Steam-first.
We do not copy other Sokpop wikis. We do not assume Stacklands cards exist here. We do not assume a Sokpop Club subscription is required. Grail is a standard Steam SKU. Steam and store.
What Sokpop said in public
- Demo in April 2026, Very Positive on a few hundred demo reviews.
- Release date trailer in July 2026 for 1 September.
- Mabel and Zappy as trophy unlocks in the full game.
- 0.39 as the last big pre-launch drop.
- 1.0 candidate a few days before launch so the 1 September build would not be a panic patch.
- Launch post: “our 112th game and my biggest game ever.”
Those beats are on the updates hub. Card-level quotes (Bayonet +50%, canal 50/75/100/125, Iconic names) are treated as patch text, not as flavour.
This wiki’s job
We write guides, characters, tier lists, and tools so you do not have to pause a 40-turn fight to remember whether poison ticks on shuffle. We do not sell the game. We do not speak for Sokpop. Legal pages are ours: Terms, Privacy, Cookies.
If Sokpop publishes an official wiki, use that for canonical card text. Until then, the in-game cardopedia plus Steam news are canonical, and this site is a routing layer.
Nearby pages
Studio vs store is this page vs Steam. The index is the links hub. If you came here to play, go to Steam, then getting started. If you came here to argue about Stacklands, go play Stacklands. Grail has its own pips.
What “112th game” should mean to you
A studio that ships that often is used to small scopes. Grail is them stretching: three heroes, Iconic rarity, a day-10 boss, a cardopedia with lore filters. It is still a two-evening game, not a live-service. Do not expect a battle pass. Do expect a trophy chest row and a remade tutorial because they heard the demo. That personality shows up in card names (Lazy larry, Soup Anatomy, Marron glacé) more than in a corporate FAQ.
We keep studio history on this page so the review can talk about design without turning into a biography. We keep product facts on Steam and store. If those two pages disagree on a date, Steam news plus the updates hub break the tie.
Community without unofficial junk
Sokpop has historically used Twitter/X and Discord in various years. We will not paste an invite that we have not opened this week. If you need chat, start from sokpop.co or the Steam hub. If you need strategy, stay on guides and tools. Mixing those jobs is how fan wikis start ranking malware.
Grail is cute. It is also a PvP snapshot machine. Treat the studio with the same split: support them by buying the game, then use this unofficial site to remember that poison hits on shuffle.
